CORONAVIRUS UPDATE:
Bethany House in Rochester will temporarily close both the shelter and the food pantry. We find this necessary because of staffing struggles in this time of COVID19. This is an unprecedented time worldwide, with resources being stretched everywhere. The staff and board at Bethany plans to reopen as soon as possible, once the worst of this crisis has passed. We are acutely aware of the mission to provide shelter, sustenance and advocacy. It is this mission that will continue shape our efforts as we move ahead. In the meantime, we ask that you, our friends, keep the many guests who have crossed the threshold of Bethany House in your prayers. This is a stressful and anxious time for everyone. If you are in the position to make a donation to Bethany House in preparation for our reopening, please follow this link for information on how to donate. |
